Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her help and commitment to increasing South African Social Security Company (SASSA) providers through an engagement using the agency's senior administrators in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the various social grant beneficiaries, who excelled during the 2024 matric examinations.
On the 724 156 full-time learners who registered for your National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, symbolizing 81% with the registered pupils from the education and learning sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
